State Department Forces Defcad to Remove 3D-Printable Gun Files

This is important.  Not because any yahoo with a 3D printer can now make him or herself a gun, especially now that the plans are on the internet, it is important because now anyone with a 3D printer now potentially has an arsenal of weapons at their disposal.  The uncontrolled mass manufacture and proliferation of ‘plastic’ guns, undetectable by metal detectors and the like definitely threatens the status quo, not to mention has the ability to be revolutionary in the classical sense.  TPTB cannot have this.  It appears they are already fairly worried about this open carry independence day march (planned for July 4 2013), imagine people printing off and handing out plastic weapons.  Time will tell.  One other thing to notice here is which branch of government is intervening here.  It’s not the ATF, the FBI or even the DoJ.  No, it’s the state department.  That right there speaks volumes about the importance of this issue to the people within the government.
